A manifesto for ecology and sustainable development, this project reinvents city entry trade. To propel the countryside of Meaux to the forefront of the economic development of eastern France and allow it to radiate nationally and internationally, it develops an agrarian metaphor and proposes an environmental aesthetic. Its façades communicate aesthetics but are also symbolic of citizen desires. To reconcile city and countryside, it is inspired by six elements that are the source of inexhaustible pleasure for man — sun, earth, metal, air, water and wood, and it envisages a new typology of businesses.
