The program for the Giptis Institute for this new project of the Timone in Marseille offered a complexity and a variety of activities. With the objective of revolutionizing the reception and care of the patients, it had to offer a perfect legibility of the care paths and the stages of sampling, consultation, research and diffusion. The project offers this simplicity of route and a multitude of uses. The fragmentation of the programs into several buildings generates a considerable potential for natural light and, beyond this increased comfort, transforms the ratio of the building and the users to the territory. Because access to a natural area is essential for patients, the slab hosts a garden open to all to walk, run or just take the air. Inside, an abundant light slips through the fractures of the frame.
