Loci anima was commissioned to design a room concept for Ibis hotels. Economical, evolving according to the desires and the biological rhythms of the day, it proposes atmospheres made to measure. This space offers users several light, sound and simple textile devices that vary according to five atmospheres: the morning’s vitaminized air, the dim evening light, the tranquility of the water at the end of the day, the lunch or the afternoon break. The functionalities are optimized by integrating notions of comfort and time: work, entertain, inform, take care of oneself, rest. The space is enlarged through the use of a single floor material, which erases boundaries and transitions between spaces. A new concept of shower has been developed: in wood it combines the natural light and heat of the material.
