Vinci Immobilier Head Office, Boulogne-Billancourt

In 2010, loci anima won a contract to deve­lop a mixed neigh­bo­rhood on the Macro-lot A4 Est de Boulogne- Billancourt, and to design an office com­plex for this site. Vinci Immobilier has cho­sen to locate its head­quar­ters here. Seeking to deve­lop new office typo­lo­gies, the firm desi­gned a work­place that was aty­pi­cal by pla­cing the wor­ker, who is a com­plex and sen­si­tive user, at the cen­ter of its reflec­tion. Accordingly, it did not come up with indi­vi­dual offices or large open spaces, but with hybrid spaces, that evolve as the wor­king day pro­gresses and in line with the pro­ject being wor­ked on, depen­ding on whe­ther the users need to concen­trate, relax, dis­cuss mat­ters in large or small groups, in a mee­ting or infor­mally. The spaces adapt and change around the users. Vast, lit by natu­ral light and with many out­door green spaces, they are fit­ted with IT sys­tems that enable employees to inter­act vir­tually with the equip­ment. Reserving a mee­ting room or consul­ting the mee­ting room sche­dule are new options pro­vi­ded by these offices which make the work­place less for­mat­ted, more intui­tive and more sen­si­tive. In a way, it’s a living orga­nism.
