In 2010, loci anima won a contract to develop a mixed neighborhood on the Macro-lot A4 Est de Boulogne- Billancourt, and to design an office complex for this site. Vinci Immobilier has chosen to locate its headquarters here. Seeking to develop new office typologies, the firm designed a workplace that was atypical by placing the worker, who is a complex and sensitive user, at the center of its reflection. Accordingly, it did not come up with individual offices or large open spaces, but with hybrid spaces, that evolve as the working day progresses and in line with the project being worked on, depending on whether the users need to concentrate, relax, discuss matters in large or small groups, in a meeting or informally. The spaces adapt and change around the users. Vast, lit by natural light and with many outdoor green spaces, they are fitted with IT systems that enable employees to interact virtually with the equipment. Reserving a meeting room or consulting the meeting room schedule are new options provided by these offices which make the workplace less formatted, more intuitive and more sensitive. In a way, it’s a living organism.
