The Croissant project in Nanterre, designed by Loci Anima, features two towers resembling small hills or cliffs covered with hornbeams, vines, and flowers. This design offers residents spacious, well-exposed outdoor areas, fostering a close connection with nature. The surrounding community benefits from a vibrant, diverse, and blooming green space. Conceived as an urban nature laboratory, the project promotes ecological urban living, encouraging communal use and sharing of planted areas to strengthen social bonds among residents and neighbors. The building integrates with the public square through a vegetated slope on the southwest side, while the twisting design of the two towers creates a continuous garden along the east and west facades.
