Le Village – Créteil Education Authority Headquarters

The new headquarters of the Créteil Education Authority is designed on a human scale — a symbolic building composed of clustered “houses” that break away from the impersonal image of large-scale office developments.
The reassuring form of pitched roofs is echoed in the architecture of the publicly accessible base. The building is modular and fully transparent, organized around a peristyle and a central garden, flooded with natural light and greenery.
It opens onto terraces on every floor and features a shared green rooftop, offering a welcoming and accessible space for all.

The Le Village – Rectorat de Créteil project, designed by the firm Loci Anima, is an iconic building located in Créteil, Val-de-Marne. This new headquarters for the Créteil Academy’s rectorate was conceived on a human scale, a true realization of houses that break away from the impersonal image of large tertiary buildings.

A modular and open architecture
The building is designed around a peristyle and a central garden, bathed in light and greenery. It is fully transparent, with terraces on each floor and a green roof accessible to all. This layout encourages interaction and collaboration among different departments, while offering a pleasant and environmentally respectful workspace.
