The city of Metz is deve­lo­ping a new neigh­bo­rhood near the sta­tion and against the Georges Pompidou cen­ter. In this ZAC, which com­bines seve­ral archi­tec­tu­ral expres­sions, the agency has cho­sen the theme of patch­work for the construc­tion of office buil­dings at a lower cost. Four facades, four orien­ta­tions, four dif­ferent expres­sions: the facades are prin­ted blinds in kake­mo­nos; The south facades open to the out­side with woo­den shut­ters to pro­tect them­selves from the sun; The west facades are trea­ted in wood and the mini­ma­list north façades are vege­ta­ted.
