As a landscape project the image technopole is presented as a gigantic Mediterranean park centered around a vast garden. Loci anima wished not to densify this site marking the entrance of the town of Cannes and to use the nature already there to clear an urban park. The structures that do not need light are buried (cinema, bowling, some shops), the others are suspended to leave nature as the master of the game. The digital room floats above the garden, 4m50 from the ground, and presents to passing strollers a giant convex screen broadcasting animations. At the heart of this space a shady bower overhangs the tallest trees and connects the buildings, the terraces and the landscaped park. It diffuses a light shadow over the green landscape that it both covers and structures. The shadow of the pines mingles with that of the urban canopy, the green slopes become terraces, and the volumes dressed in horizontal scales emerge from the ground like so many metallic strata of the topography created.
